Brewing beer has been a passionate hobby of mine for around 10 years now, and I’ve always particularly enjoyed the process and scientific aspect of it. For example, the intricacies of how water chemistry plays a role, the material impact that temperature changes have in each phase of the process, and how even the same ingredients can change their final flavour from year to year. However, a lot of the tools that are available to design beer recipes with, or track progress throughout the brewing process with, each approach it in a way that didn’t quite work for me, so I decided to build my own.
If you also enjoy brewing your own beer, then this tool may be of interest and use to you: brewdesigner.com. One thing to keep in mind though, is that it is currently in open beta and features may change a bit in how they function based on feedback.
